Responsibilities:
MSR I Assist members with account opening and account maintenance.
Assist members with debit and ATM card opening and maintenance.
Refer members, as appropriate, to the loan department.
Effectively cross-sell products to members, based on credit union promotions and knowledge of member.
Assist members with credit disability and credit life insurance claims.
Assist members with collateral insurance questions and documentation.
Act as a teller.
This activity should be expected to take up to 40% of an MSR's time.
MSR II - Must meet MSR I criteria in addition to the following.
Assist members with all deposit account opening and find best-fit products to meet members' needs.
Assist members with account maintenance, debit and ATM card opening and card maintenance and with online services such as Portal Pay, online banking and the mobile app.
Effectively, and with integrity, cross-sell deposit and loan products and other services to members.
Back up the loan department by taking loan applications or by closing loans when necessary, and/or find loan opportunities and make loan referrals.
Assist members with collateral insurance questions and documentation.
Act as a teller.
This activity should take no more than 10% of an MSR II's time.
MSR III - Must meet MSR II criteria in addition to the following.
Act as the credit union's IRA and share certificate expert.
Act as the business development officer for the credit union by attending and working chamber and other community functions both during, before and after regular business hours in the communities we serve.
Act as a teller when needed.
This activity should take no more than 10% of an MSR III's time.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
High school diploma and cash handling experience.
Minimum of three years in a teller or customer service position, with preference given to work in a financial institution.
Ability to use basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to use Adobe or other like software to complete and view fillable documents.
Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
Ability to organize thoughts in written and/ or oral form in a professional and grammatically correct manner, so that the recipient may easily understand the contents.
Ability to calculate interest earned per term on Certificates of Deposit and per day on loans.
Ability to make minor calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and figuring percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Maintain valid driver's license to drive to other branches, business development venues, or training sites.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to walk to other locations in building as necessary to complete work.
Ability to push heavy doors as necessary to gain access to areas needing entry to complete work.
Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch to complete other tasks, as necessary.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
