Pharmacy Technician

NITELINES USA INC. is currently looking to fill a potential Pharmacy Technician Position (see details below).
LOCATION: FCI Jesup, GA.
Schedule
The work schedule will normally consist of 30 hours per week, occurring Monday through Friday between the hours of
6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays. Each daily schedule will include a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting prescriptions and medication orders written by medical staff.
Selecting and retrieving medications of correct dose and strength as prescribed.
Transcribing prescription data to labels using typewriters or computer writing systems.
Preparing prescriptions for review by a BOP/Public Health Service (PHS) pharmacist prior to dispensing.
Giving pertinent patient instructions when appropriate.
Assisting the pharmacist in ensuring the only medications lised in the approved BOP Formulary are dispensed.
Ensuring that request for Non-Forumlary medications are initiated and submitted to the Pharmacist for approval.
Maintaining adequate inventories of all medications and medical supplies.
Preparing the proper paperwork for replenishment of inventory.
Maintaining an expiration date log to ensure that no outdated or expired stock remains in the inventory.
Assisting in updating patient education literature.
Assisting in improvement of performance studies.
Assisting the Pharmacist in meeting policy guidelines for the inmates.
Preparing recommended supply lists to order pharmaceuticals.
Maintaining the pharmacy areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
Maintaining stock of appropriate forms utilized in the pharmacy department.
Maintaining Pharmacy operation, within guidelines governing the duties of the Pharmacy Technician, in the absence of the Pharmacist.
REQUIREMENTS:
Should be able to accurately input a minimum of 25 prescriptions per hour.
Education and
Qualifications:
At a minimum, must have completed a Pharmacy Technician training program and possess a certificate of program completion.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Must have experience working as a Pharmacy Technician for at least three (3) years.
Must have computer and typing skills.
Provide proof of current CPR certification.
Shall have the ability to read, understand, fluently speak, and legibly write in the English language.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
